Ok this is very easy to do please follow everthing bellow.

Name: Anything You Want.
Hostname: yourdomain.com
IP Address: Ip address of your server can be found here or in Server info email https://cp.hostnine.com/main/actions/list_accounts.php
Monthly Cost: Don't need.
Datacenter/NOC: Don't need.
Maximum No. of Accounts: any number you want. i would make it really high EX: 1000000
Server Status Address: Only need this if you uploaded the status folder
To display this server on the server status page, enter the full path to the server status folder (required to be uploaded to each server you want to monitor) - eg. http://www.whmcs.com/status/

If you are using custom nameserver do the following if you are using H9's add theres

Primary Nameserver: ns1.yourdomain.com
Primary Nameserver IP: The Ip of ns1.hostnine.com found in server info email
Secondary Nameserver: ns2.yourdomain.com
Secondary Nameserver IP: The Ip of ns2.hostnine.com found in server info email
You don't need the other nameservers if you don't want
Tertiary Nameserver
Tertiary Nameserver IP
Quaternary Nameserver
Quaternary Nameserver IP

Server Details
Type: Reseller central
Username: your RC username
Password: your RC password
Access Hash: Don't need

Unhappy Same Problem...WHMCS won't speak to RC

I followed the original H9 config as they installed WHMCS and they specifically wrote "Don't change settings on this page"...well, it doesn't work (see attached image of their setup...the only thing cut off is my username and password for RC).

Next, I followed reaper's instrux which basically replaces the "cp.hostnine.com" from H9's setup with my own domain name and IP and it still doesn't work.

I can create orders in WHMCS and nothing gets setup in RC...ever.

I have tried to implement the custom IP address variable in the Product settings {$service_custom_field_ipaddress} to test and it will not return anything - so I assume WHMCS is not talking to RC properly (or at all). I am using my RC login and my RC password and I know they work as I log in to RC regularly.

Is there any way to actually test the connection between the two apps? Please help...

-Jake

Could you give me your domain and make me a WHMCS account with just enough power to add a new server. If i could then i can tell you for sure if the two apps are talking to each other. I don't belive hostnine or WHMCS will do this for you. I have set up WHMCS for people more times then i can count. So again feel free to contact me at the email i provided above.

WHMCS will check your settings for you if you ask them to and point out any issue that occur
