once you have all your accounts in WHMCS, the server page will show the the figures you have.
Other than that, not sure what you mean? |

whmcs will also import account info from whm, but unfortunately it doesn't import previous accounts from rc. To enter your established accounts into rc, follow these instructions: http://v3manual.whmcs.com/display.php?id=108#

Hiya,
Just to gauge use, how useful would an import from RC script be? I mean all you're going to import is domain, username and package (given package names match) is it really worth it to develop one, or isn't it just easier to do them manually? I did one for a client, and although it would have shaved some time off the total process, I'm not sure it really takes away from the manual work required. |

One major problem is the since RC doesn't contain any customer info, you still would have to enter that into WHMCS manually, and you are right, since you are manually entering the customer info in, it's just another click or two to add the package. When you convert over to the WHMCS billing system yourself, I can see that being close to the end of RC anyway. Matt is in development of a WHMCS to WHMCS API right now, so with a little tweaking, our installs could interface directly with yours and remove the need for RC all together. That is assuming, of course, that you are willing to rely on a third-party app rather than your proprietary one. While I do love RC, I would much rather use my own WHMCS install, and let it take care of everything for me. With the current WHMCS - RC setup (and with my registrar), I am able to automate most things within WHMCS. I would like to see, however, the following things (I know some are already added to somebodies list): 1. Built-in DNS management (through H9s DNS) 2. The ability to migrate accounts from within WHMCS 3. The ability to upgrade/downgrade accounts within WHMCS 4. Full Windows integration 5. Fix the nameserver issue within the API If those changes were made, I think WHMCS and H9 would be a perfect combination! Just my $.02. |
