Default WHMCS Returning Reseller Central IP Address

Ok, this is a quick how to:

OK, step 1: Edit you product and add a CUSTOM FIELD called "IP Address" (without quotes). Do not make it required or show on the order form (ie dont tick any of the boxes).
Save the product
Step 2: Any custom field you have in your products can be reference in your email templates with the following syntax: [ProductCustom-FieldName]. So the IP Address would be: [ProductCustom-IP Address]. Edit your mail template and add this where [IP Address] is currently.

Personally, I made a new email template for Reseller Central, really, it's up to you. This is my email template for RCL

Code:

Does RC already return the node IP to the WHMCS API?

Otherwise, that would just require manual population of the field, which can be done with the exsisting field.

Ok... Looking at the other post leads me to believe that RC already does include an IP return.

Thanks!!! I've been in desperate need of this for awhile.

Is this only for the latest release of WHMCS or does it work for 3.5.1 -- Only, mine doesn't seem to be returning an IP address..

It works for Reseller Central, thanks!

However, I'm not only have Hostnine Reseller Central, I have another WHM VPS account. If I update the email template, the Email only displaying IP address for Reseller Central accounts, when I create account under VPS, the email won't display the IP address for the VPS server.

Any way to make it work on both?

Thanks!

Instead of modifying the cPanel email in WHMCS, you should create a new email for RC. Then you can choose to send the RC email for accounts placed on the H9 server, and the cPanel email for accounts created on the cPanel server.
