Question How do you move email accounts?

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of setting up some new clients on my hosting server. They currently have email accounts at their old server and I would like to move it over to my host without losing email's, address books, etc. It should be easy as they currently use the same cpanel webmail apps (squirrel mail, round cube, etc.) but I'm just not sure if you literally just copy the folders and move them or if there is a different way. Any help is appreciated!

Cheers,

~FOX~

If their other host has not disabled the backup function in cPanel then just grab a "Full Site Backup" - -
With this you can enter a ticket to H9 to have this restored.
If you are a reseller - - then this account can not exist for the restore to be successful.

Thanks for the reply Kobra, what do you mean by "If you are a reseller - - then this account can not exist for the restore to be successful." So you mean the account cannot already exist in my reseller account?

Thanks,

~FOX~

Correct!! As the restore from a "full site backup" creates the account it can not currently exist or the restore will fail
