Hi guys

Im very new to all of this. I registered a domain at namecheap and have setup a reseller account here at h9. Yesterday I redirected my domain from namecheap to host9. i changed the nameserver to ns1.hostnine.com & ns2.hostnine.com. This was more than 24hrs ago, and nothing has happened

Am I doing something wrong??

I believe they need to be ns1.speedydns.net and ns2.speedydns.net, not ns1.hostnine.com and ns2.hostnine.com. If you change it, it will take another 24 hrs to get it fixed. If you need any more help, let the hostnine folks help you @ support.hostnine.com. They are great!

Hi you can try these steps:

1. Ask the address of their domain name servers where your domain is parked.

2. Go arrange hosting if you don't use the registrar's hosting. The new host then gives you the DNS info you need, may be 2 separate addresses.

3. Go back to your registrar, move into your account, go to manage domains, and redirect your domain from your registrar to your host, to the DNS addresses your host gave you.

4. It usually takes 24-72 hours, your host will send you an email once they receive your domain and it is 'live.'

Hope it helps!!!

Hello Amjad2010.

No offense, but you are answering to a more than 1 year old thread... ;-)
