I have set up an account for a customer including e-mail. They access their e-mail through a local e-mail client (Outlook express). It is set up as IMAP, so it should synchronize with the mail account on the server. When they delete an email in outlook express, it does not remove it from the server. How do I set it up so that deleted items will automatically be removed from the server. They do not want to have to go through webmail to clean out their mailbox.

been a while since I used IMAP - but don't they have to "Clear their deleted items"?

You're right. I just found the "purge" command on the edit menu. That seems to work fine.
