Add on domains, where

Hi, I am new to Hostnine, am adding addons, should they be place in the root or in Public_html ?

For cPanel, it doesn't matter.
It's all based on personal preference,

Actually, they go in public_html or they will not be web accessible if placed above it.

Additionally, when you add them in cPanel, it will create them and locate them appropriately.

nilo, I setup an addon domain with subdirectory under publi_htm. I struggled with addons because initially when a browser pointed to the addon the url switched to the prime domain. I finally disable redirections which fix it.
