I am a total idiot. I have a template that I want to use, it's a CSS template with a handful of GIF files that need to have the text edited. Me=feels like a total idiot. If anyone can help w/this I'd really appreciate it.

Have you managed to solve your problems Khokies?
What do you mean by the gifs files needing the text edited? If i can i will try to help you. Are the Gifs static or animated? PS your not a total idiot! I know how you feel, i get flumxed with a lot of things that are new, but i am no idiot..green under the collar perhaps, and definately under the nails on occassion, but that is to do with gardening  |

Well - if they are gif files and not PSD files then you really can't change the text in Photoshop without trying to cover it up or do some serious magic work depending on the pic itself. You need to get the PSD file and then you can easily alter the layers that have the text and then resave as a .gif.
