I'm having a problem that I didn't have with either my previous host or on any of my development machines. If I pass http:// as a parameter to a php script, I get a 406 Not Acceptable error.
Here's the actual link (generated from a Javascript bookmark): http://www.tangledupinbrew.com/links...om&name=Google now change the http to htttp: http://www.tangledupinbrew.com/links...om&name=Google This happens on any of my servers regardless of whether the php script in question is a valid file or not. Additionally, I did notice that the <?= php shortcut doesn't work, at least under php5, on HostNine servers. I had to change this to <?php echo. |

Hi,
That is a mod_security rule to avoid hackers on the server. Simply add: SecFilterEngine Off To your .htaccess file to bypass that. |

Excellent. That did it.
Thanks, Andy |
