Default PHP Devlopers..

Hi all,

I've been looking around the web the past few days for a banner ads management system. There are loads available, but the only good one I have seen so far is OpenX (Formerly phpAdsNew). The only major downside with OpenX is the fact that it doesnt support self user registration, and doesn't integrate with any payment gateways.

So, I was thinking. Who here is interested in contributing to a new open source banner management system? It doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles of most systems, as long as it supports the important features which other systems lack.

Anyone interested, let me know by replying here.

Dave

This sounds like an interesting project. Reminds me of an idea we were throwing around. Allowing our users the ability to contribute scripts they have or have written into a repository where other h9 clients could download them. Or maybe a dedicated source management system that we can give out access to.

Let us know what you guys think, we always love to see development in the community.

If H9 implemented this I would go to it, and possibly use it.

I don't think that H9 should waste their time with this though. The internet doesn't need another script-sharing site. H9 should be more concerned with developing new and innovative scrips.

IMHO, of course.

Hi Guys, thanks for replying to the post! It's great to see others are interested

Maybe we should all schedule a chat session and work out what the system should have, what the minimum requirements of the system actually are to start with. After all, extra modules can be added later on.

Sound like a plan?
