Default OSCommerce Installation Prob due to Permissions

Hi

Has anyone recently installed OSCommerce Script and successfully got around the new permissions?

I uploaded it to one of my sites because I have a design commission and I have an error that says
Quote:
public_html/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.
Now the manual states the permissions for this particular file should be 644, which it is set as, but it also states if this error does not go away, due to some servers having added security this file might have to be CHMOD to 444 which I tried and it won't let me.

Can anyone tell me how I would be able to resolve this? Is there something I need to put into the php.ini file etc?

Would be appreciative if support could suggest something also..

First, I am sorry that you are using OSCommerce

You can only set "444" permissions via the cPanel file manager.
