Default Uptime Monitoring

If you are concerned about the availability of your website you need to get an uptime monitoring service. (For those who don't know what this is, It's a program/system that E-mails or texts you if the website goes down-so you can fix the problem and make the site available again.) My personal favorite is Observe Point. The reports are simple and it's pretty user friendly. I've only tried a couple of services but I like this one out of the ones I have tried. These programs are also referred to as Website monitoring, web server monitoring, or sometimes transaction monitoring programs. (Some more info is in the links)
