Hi Rick thanks for setting up my site builder
Just a few questions on how this all works: #1 is this working from my allotted webspace or hostnine, as the url looks like a subdomain of mine, i saw something in my panel regarding your servers which confused me a wee bit? Which doesn't take an awful lot to do.. #2 if this is the case working off my domain, i presume this is the same for my clients, once i have created a user and input all the data required, it will be working off their domain and allot space. So, can and will they have still access to their cpanel or is this replaced once you set up it up for them? Why i ask i have a potential client who at the moment uses 123 Reg, boy they are charging her the earth for her site builder, hosting and email address. She recently had a problem deleting pages and after 4 days they responded saying they were aware of the problem but never told her what it was..she's fed up of not getting any response, and was offered her money back, well mes thinking if i can convince her custom it would be better to come with me, and that she would have more options  However, whilst playing with her version of site builder, i noticed that the wysiwig didn't allow for swoping between html input which is very infurating because what you see you've created often isn't whats published  Where is this all leading well?...if she can have access still to her cpanel (which she doesn't have now) then i can correct the html if needed, if the files are accessible that is and i don't see why they shouldn't be...hope you understand my ramblings.. |

Host 9 has done some hosting magic and these are not inside your account space nor your clients. the login to htpp://sitebuilder.your_domain.com... takes you to the builder site where when done you publish to your site(taken from the login) and the files are in the public_html area.
Yes one can then FTP them to a local and edit them if required. The same process for your or your clients....you have to first enable your clients access by logging into the sitebuilder admin and adding your client information. This is my understanding of the way this functions. |

Oh i see, thanks petal!
So what you saying all modifications are done via their website and then ftp'd to your own webspace, where by you can access and make modifications within the public_html area... Righty i will have to have a nosy now..

Not exactly sure of the magic to transfer what template you choose and enter your information into, Could be FTP but as on the same server might be something else.
