Default Adding link in the top

I'm no good at html. No good whatsoever, trying to learn.

So I have a site set up, but I was wondering how I could get a link up in the top area (see picture) .

I could add a client area link there instead or something.

Thanks for your help.

Based on the code in your page that I did look at, probably where the XXXXXXX is below. I didn't bother to look at your css stylesheet to see what "Layer1" css looked like but I am guessing you want it with img_03.jpg as a background.

Code:
<!-- START LOGO -->
                <div style="position: absolute;">  XXXXXXX
                    <div id="Layer1" style="position:relative; left:250px; top:50px; width:120; height:60; text-align:center; z-index:1; overflow:visible; white-space:nowrap;"><a href="http://clphosting.com/index.php" ><img src="LOGO.PNG?d974895f0e25f1d0f1ff439b56717376" border="0" alt="Logo" /></a></div>
Would look sorta like this:
Code:
 <a href="somewhere.com/somefolder/mypage.htm">Link text here</a>
maybe wrapped with a float : right to push the text to the right

edit to add: Page breaks in IE6 but displays ok in Firefox. Lots of people still using IE6!

Just for chuckles I looked again.

add this line to your styles.css page:
Code:
.foo {float:right; margin-top:12px;margin-right:40px;font-size:15px;font-family:Comic Sans MS;}
add the part between the *** to your home page:
Code:
<TD><!-- START LOGO -->
      <DIV style="POSITION: absolute">
*** <div class="foo"><a href="http://clphosting.com/index.php">My Link Text Here</a></div> ***
      <DIV id=Layer1 .......... etc .....
BTW: even though you have a div id "Layer1" in your code, I didn't find it defined in your CSS. ... and there is WAY too much js code ... imho

Ok Thank you.
One more thing,

you know how HostNine has their .. homepage with this?

©HostNine

What Html would I use to get something like that?
I don't mean copy theirs, just how do I get the background with the text on it kind of thing (in that form)?

Thanks.

I don't understand what it has to do with what I mentioned? Where does it say in there? I'm assuming there is CSS involved?

And one last thing.. how do I center the Navigator links? Sorry I keep asking things but I'm new to this stuff.

That is why I posted the links. Not to be rude but perhaps you would like to learn about how to create webpages and what all that "code" and "tag" stuff does.

To center stuff:
Code:
<center> stuff here </center>

It keeps telling me I need to enter in the CSS file.

But I was wondering , the image I showed above..

Is that a frame? Something in the CSS? What is it called?

If you cannot code - you would need to hire someone to do it for you

Although it would be nice if someone would tell me how a 'frame' works.

I keep hearing about html frames.
