Hi. I'll second that.
I'm not going to be much help, since mine also doesn't work - at least not as I expected it to. I can't go to sitebuilder.mysitename.com, instead I go to the myserverhosts.com URL they provide. In itself, I guess that's OK, but not really what I expected. In any case, I can't get sites to NOT have the Red X on them, and I can't get anything to publish for my customers. I'm not really sure what to ask, because I'm just deal out of the blocks here. |

You need to have sitebuilder setup on your account first of all, log a support ticket and request this.

Have already finished that. If we didn't have it setup on our accounts we wouldn't even be able to log in the only way we can..

I'm having the same kind of trouble.
I can go to sitebuilder.mydomain.com though - all of that works ok, but I'm not sure what the heck to do from there. I'm on the venus server, that wasn't even one of the options in the hosts settings, so I went ahead and set that up - not sure if that was the right thing to do or not, but presuming it would have to be. I can create users, I can create plans, I can login as a user and create a site, but I can't publish it. Do I need to create the site in admin first or just the user account? This is so frustrating. Live Chat support just seems to issue standard responses - read the user guide - but I find that more confusing than anything. Can anyone that has this working (or someone from H9) help us with some info? I've got clients yelling at me because they want to use the sitebuilder

I have found publishing by IP address is the best option for Site Builder.
Only MASTER accounts will work. ie usernames WITHOUT @domain.com and the ftp path starts with /public_html/whateveryouneed/ the http:// is http://www.yourdomain.com/folder It doesn't agree too much with subdomain.yourdomain.com Hope this helps! |
