We have been looking into a lot of ways to battle the never ending spam war. We have found a few way's to block it.
Right now we have configured node4 node10 node63 gibson drift With some new spam rules to prevent a lot of incoming and out going spam. This includes forwarders that may accidentally send spam that is not caught. It will take it and discard the message right off the bat. Since 10am est time node10 has blocked over 800+ spam messages from going out and coming in. We have also made a new blacklist queue for all these issues that have been happening. So far this is working out a lot better then the normal abuse queue. If all goes well over the weekend we will be adding this to every server to cut down on all the excess spam/blacklists. If you have any questions just email support at hostnine.com and we will address any questions or concerns.
