Well the site looks good, but why the yellow login or register bar at the top of you home page, in my opinion distracts from reading the content, maybe you should contrast your login and register area more, otherwise nice content.
For only being loaded last Saturday, I see you have a google rating of 2+, not bad, usually takes a couple of weeks.

I use FireFox 2, there is an addon for the google ratings, places a rating bar at the bottom right of your screen, very neat if you don't want a google bar.
The addon is called Live Pagerank
