Is it possible to update the dns zone file other than cpanel.

Like when we take full backup, it takes backup of zone file as well which is named like 'domainname.com.db'. And when we open this in notepad, it displays some thing like this:

; cPanel 11.25.0-RELEASE_43473
; Zone file for domainname.com
$TTL 14400
@ 86400 IN SOA ns1.speedydns.net. dnsadmin.nodeXX.myserverhosts.com. (
2010031202 ; serial, todays date+todays
86400 ; refresh, seconds
7200 ; retry, seconds
3600000 ; expire, seconds
86400 ) ; minimum, seconds

domainname.com. 86400 IN NS ns1.speedydns.net.
domainname.com. 86400 IN NS ns2.speedydns.net.

domainname.com. IN A x.x.x.x

localhost.domainname.com. IN A 127.0.0.1

domainname.com. IN MX 0 domainname.com.

mail IN CNAME domainname.com.
www IN CNAME domainname.com.
ftp IN A x.x.x.x
cpanel IN A x.x.x.x
whm IN A x.x.x.x
webmail IN A x.x.x.x
webdisk IN A x.x.x.x

My question is that as we have already defined our custom nameservers in Reseller Central > Account Settings. then why RC is generating speedydns.net in zone file at the creation of new account.

I really request you to do something in this matter, as just solving this thing will solve everyone's problem.

I have only one domain in which I was able to change this db file, as at that time DNS was changed through RC. And that domain is total anonymous and not showing speedydns.net when someone do whois.

I hope if you have understood my point.

x.x.x.x = IP
domainname = Your Actual Domain

Regards,
Jojo
