Crazy Amount of Spam?!?

Hello,

I just wanted to see if anyone else was getting an atrocious amount of spam lately. I've had several of my customers, as well as myself, getting a lot more spam then usual. I'm on the "crater" server.

Not sure about my clients, but my biz account on node92 which use aasp now instead of spam assassin is full of spams, i usually have 1-2 spams email and now its like 20 per day

Check in cpanel to see if the spamasssassin option is there or not , perhaps your account is now with the new tool as well

My spam is increasing, 20- 25 in the last 24 hours. Node 81

Increased on node58 after I saw ASSP in place of spamassassin.

Hi,

It may increase at first but this is just so it can learn what to block etc

It will just take some learning time for ASSP.

Geez how much time are we talking about, after you installed ASSP I got no spam for 24 hours, now I am getting bombarded with it, I am not very impressed with ASSP.

sent, I have about 10 email accounts on node 81, it's a global setting

I have Spam Assassin running on all of my accounts and I have not seen the new ASSP yet. For me I'm seeing an average of 2 or 3 spam emails every hour, I've got my email setup on my smart phone so I'm able to see it real time. My clients are telling me roughly the same story with the subject being Russian Brides or Viagra for the most part. Unfortunately I am paying to get this spam mail because of the data plan on my smart phone, a little disappointing to say the least.

On the bright side of things this is the first thread, with something negative to say, that hasn't been instantly erased in months!
