Default SSH access to servers?

Hi all,

I have watched the tutorials in the CPanel but can't get SSH to work. Is there a detailed step-by-step somewhere? I searched the forums but didn't come up with anything.

I generated the Keys and downloaded the private key. I then used Putty + key to attempt to connect to the IP of the server where the account is located. When I attempt to connect I get a "connection refused" error.

I need to have access to run a command line to chmod a ton of files (otherwise I'd do it with an FTP client).

Anyone have anything for me?

Thanks!

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the link. The problem is that I need to have access to multiple different domains all under the same reseller ID. Is this form still valid for this? Also, would there be a way to give me access to SSH on all the accounts at once rather than having to submit a form for each individual cPanel?
