I highly recommend that nobody host with this hosting company. They say that they are up 99.9% of the time but that is simply a lie. I have about 25 sites hosted here and there is at least one site that goes down each day. Now there is a node 35 down that they can not even fix within 24 hours. They obviously need to hire some more people that know what they are doing. Below is a few numbers that they want me to put so they dont remove this post. They are different support ticket numbers from the many times that my sites have went down.

This has nothing to do with our "staff"
Our phone tech's explained the issue to you. http://www.hostnine.com/hosting-foru...html#post18629 Then you hung up on them very rudely. We are not hiding anything. The datacenter has yet to get back with us. If you have issues you need to take them up with ben@hostnine.com

its been more than 24 hrs and node35 is still down, no one is updating on this matter, we are really annoyed by our clients, what is the situation right now.
It seems things are going out of Hostnine support team. At lease update us with the situation, if possible let me know if we can recreate new account for the domain hosted on node35, please update |

As I know it passed more than 36 hours.
Since weeks end I can assume this will not come online for next 2 days. This is the very bad experience I had for last 4 years. Its true that H9 support team cannt do anything for that since datacenter not with them and its too far away from them. But they should select responsible vendors. I'm waiting until it comes online to transfer all those account to somewhere else. |

Due to the data center not getting back to us in 48 hours we are restoring our backups to a server located at Softlayer in Dallas, TX.
This should be completed in 2-3 hours. |

In this case, it's not even a matter of responsibility of the vendor -- the entire datacenters IP range was placed under an extensive DDOS attack of which rendered communications impossible.
As such, we have moved the entirety of Node35 to a server in the Softlayer Datacenter temporarily while we provision another server in Singapore using a different provider. No data has been lost, and everything is still in tact. Your website should also be online at this time. We do recognize the extended period of downtime, and for this we greatly apologize. Sadly, certain issues are out of our hands -- this was one of those situations. If you would like more information with regards to this incident, please feel free to email managers@hostnine.com at any time for more information. Thanks, |
