I know how you feel, something is very very wrong here, back up your sites personally before you let them anywehre near them - seriously - it isnt worth the hassle.

It had always been the clients responsibility to make sure the site is backed up, it has been stated numerous times on this forum by H9 that this is the policy, so don't blame Hostnine for your site being backed up.

I asked h9 in writing to back up my site before the move
the lost 3 databases so I have a right to complaine I beleive. More importantly I am advising someone here not to trust the misleading information on the service offered as the backup are pretty useless when you think about it. It was explained to me by host nine employess that they back up the site one day and the next that is deleted and a new backup made. if your databases go down or your hacked, if you dont instantly spot it it is the hacked site that is backed up. So as far as I am concerend I would hate to see that happen to anyone else. |
