Hi,
I'm wondering if (a) there is memcached support on a reseller server. and (b) if there isn't already memcached support on the server, is there any way to get it installed? Thanks |

Hello,
At this time, we do not have memcache compiled or configured on our servers. You can submit a request with our support team to have this installed, although we may or may not fulfill this request as certain modules can create additional unnecessary load on our servers, especially in poorly optimized code. Keep in mind, you are also able to cache data using php scripts. Smarty offers a caching system along with their template system, although comparing this to memcache most likely won't offer what you are looking for as their functions are quite different. Thanks! |
