I see how to create a client in the Reseller Central and choose the operating system, but how does a new customer choose which operating system they want in WHMCS? I see no option for it.

OK, so at this time there is no automatic way to create Windows hosting orders, it has to be done manually through Reseller Central? That rather impacts the usability of your product. Is there a prediction as to when this feature will be available? I am a new customer, signed up yesterday, had I known this I probably wouldn't have signed up.

Sorry this impacts usability of a 3rd party product which is nothing to do with H9.

WHMCS dev team AFAIK are working on an update now

Thanks. I was hoping H9 personnel wouldn't give such a flippant answer. If WHMCS is being presented as the new automated billing system, and it only half works so far, quite obviously new customers need to be told that.

Have a good one and thanks for the help.

sorry if I seem flippant.. it's a case of my fingers typing before my mind catches up.. don't mean to be.

As RC 2.1 was launched on Monday, and there hasn't been a new release of the RC module from WHMCS yet, there is no automation at current for Windows packages.

However, this is in the pipeline (I believe) and I am sure Matt (from WHMCS) is working his best on the updated module.

Also, this post was started 2months before RC2.1 and the new windows packages so is technically out of date at current
