3 available methods for a script to send email:
1. php mail
2. sendmail
3. smtp mail

It looks like your option #2. Send mail by: is asking what mailing method to use. I don't know what the syntax should be to specify this option, you'll need to refer to the documentation for your script(s).

If you elect to use smtp mail the server name (host) is the same as you would use in your email client, usually something like mail.domain.com. The smtp port is usually 25 but on some servers you need to use 26

I am also having trouble with sendmail. I cannot get it to work on node 17 or5 and sporadically works on node 19 or 8 depending on the recipient address. There is nothing wrong with my script that submits to sendmail. Sendmail is crucial for nearly every site I am hosting.

According to the forums, H9 seems to be having all kinds of trouble with email in general and I find it very alarming. I am a new signup but I am getting really near fed up. I am working with Joshua on this issue and I hope to resolve it ASAP.
