Default Questions on pricing, reselling, upgrading

Hi guys,

I've had a quick look around the forum to see if these questions are answered elsewhere and as far as I can tell they have not been. My apologies if these are questions you get all the time - I'm pretty much new to all of this!

1) Reselling - how easy is it to sell hosting space to others? If I buy the cheapest reseller package, are there templates/software/scripts etc included to help me re-sell that space? I know a bit of HTML but my web design skills aren't good enough to design an e-commerce site!

2) Pricing - If I am re-selling space, are there any upper or lower limits on the prices I can charge? For example, if I wanted to charge someone $0.50 a month for 25GB of storage and 250GB of Data (not that I would want to!), would that be possible?

3) Although I will start with the lowest priced reseller option I can foresee me wanting to upgrade soon. I have read that this is possible, and all you have to do is pay the difference between the two pricing schemes. Do I have to have been a member for a certain amount of time or could I upgrade after day 1?

Thanks in advance

I hope reselling is not an issue. I'd like to do that too!

You better check the allowances for the reseller packages as selling 25GB to one user for $0.50/month will put you at a loss every month

Oh I know, if I was selling that it would make me bankrupt very quickly. What I mean is - can I fully customise the pricing structure I want to set? Or are there limits to how cheaply/how expensive a price I can set/ are there limits to how much data and storage I can offer one person?

I was just using that as an example, obviously I would never sell that much for that little!

You can price as you think your audience will allow
Most resellers provide some value added services and price accordingly
Trying to offer general hosting is a hard market, especially as a reseller

Same as above -

You are only limited by the quota you have throgh what you have purchased
So if your plan purchased has 25 GB - don't offer a plan with 50GB
