It looks like a great service you guys have here, however, upon signing up I noticed your location. The first thing I thought was "hurricanes!", which brings up a few questions for me.
a) Are your servers located in Juniper, FL? b) What can HostNine customers expect in the case of a hurricane, for example? Will the entirety of your staff be displaced? With that said, I'm also in Canada and am not totally clued in to the frequency of hurricanes and their effect on Juniper, FL. Thanks! Brandon |

No, the servers are located at a secure datacentre hosted by fastservers.net b) What can HostNine customers expect in the case of a hurricane, for example? Will the entirety of your staff be displaced? HostNine has put in place a plan in the event of a hurricane staff may be sent home however they will still have staff working in remote locations to help provide the support 24/7 gurantee. |

It is their office which is located in Jupiter Florida. The datacenters that house their servers are located in geographically safe locations in California, Iowa, and Illinois

I heard that H9 has this tech-NO-ology where they have a tower setup that releases high levels of atmospheric altering waves (AAW) to help secure their location. In other words, it sort of places a bubble around them that cuts through the storm as it wraps around them...never really crossing over them. It's like being in the eye of the hurricane through the whole storm.
You guys care to elaborate on this some? |
