Reseller Hosting Questions (H9, WHMCS)

Hello there,

I am considering to sign up for H9 Reseller Hosting Account and have few major questions to ask:

1. Can I create an account with H9 and keep it in good standing without hosting an actual websites for, let say a year or longer, as I learn various aspects and technicalities about reselling web hosting as part of my feasibility study, research, and business plan development?

One of the particular thing (among some others) that attracts me to consider opening a reseller hosting account with H9 is integrated WHMCS system, the integration, modification, and use of which is one of the priority in my research and business plan development.

I have few questions about WHMCS system on H9 servers:

2. Is WHMCS attached, modified, or dependent on H9 reseller hosting plans in any way?

3. While reviewing information at WHMCS - The Complete Client Management, Billing & Support System, I learned about many features this system has, and different modules that are available for integration and use, or can be created to suit certain needs of the business. Considering this, am I free to use all the available features and modules or create my own modules in WHMCS while using it with H9 reseller plans?

4. Can I add other servers/accounts (provided by other reseller hosting companies) to WHMCS while using it with my H9 account?

5. Am I going to have a direct relationship to WHMCS (ex: billing) or through H9 company?

I am only a poster here and some of your concerns need to be addressed by the H9 Staff or discussed with Sales by phone

As long as you pay your fees you will remain in GS...

2. Is WHMCS attached, modified, or dependent on H9 reseller hosting plans in any way?

Yes, the normal cPanel module for WHMCS is replaced with a "Custom" RC module written in conjunction between H9 & WHMCS

3. ...am I free to use all the available features and modules or create my own modules in WHMCS while using it with H9 reseller plans?

WHMCS is proprietary and compiled so one does not receive the source so I am unsure that you could create your own. The RC integration is somewhat specialized as it polls and allows creation of accounts across the multiple array of servers in many locations

4. Can I add other servers/accounts (provided by other reseller hosting companies) to WHMCS while using it with my H9 account?

One would need to ask H9 if their implementation is fully as a module where the "server" is associated with the RC module and allowance for adding another server with a cPanel association is available...I suspect this is so as one can add H9 win servers(plesk) on top of LINUX(RC) servers

5. Am I going to have a direct relationship to WHMCS (ex: billing) or through H9 company?

The license is through H9 so some aspects are via H9 and others are direct
