Hi,
This is regarding the reseller hosting. Quoting from: HostNine - Terms and Conditions - 99.9% Uptime - 24x7 Support - 877-251-HOST "Please note that if you received a WHMCS license you will be charged $9.95 for each month the license was active" Is this an additional $9.95/mth on top of the $19.95/mth paid annually? If the fee is paid annually, $19.95 x 12, what happens if I want to cancel in my 3rd month? Will I get a pro-rated refund? Thanks for the great and open forum. |

The 9.95 per month for the WHMCS is in regards to canceling your account within the 30 days. You do get a pro-rated refund. If you received a free domain, you will have to pay the domain fee if its within 3 months. And the 19.95 is x 12. You can be charged monthly for 24.99 I believe. However, I am not a member of the host nine staff, but this is how I intemperate the TOS. You could always jump on live chat and ask them, they'll be able to tell you more. You can also open a ticket.
Edit: If I recall right the WHMCS is free if your a reseller. You just have to open a ticket and request it. Last edited by lonestar; 11-14-2008 at 02:39 PM. Reason: Add something |

Thanks Lonestar!
Regarding opening a ticket, I guess I'll have to wait until I become a customer first :-) How long does it take for a H9 staff to reply to pre-sales questions? I'd like to know about pro-rated refund thing because I've had bad experiences with other hosts before where they lock you in for a year and then kick up a big fuss when I wanted to leave due to poor service/downtime. I don't mind paying for a year and staying on if the service and uptime is good. That's the most important thing. |

Best thing I recommend doing is hopping on live chat, they are great there and they'll help you out real time, instead of playing the ticket back and forth game. However, if you would like to do a ticket, they're generally pretty quick about responding, you can check on the support page, on the right side, it will have the average ticket response times for each department.

Sorry for the absence ... wasn't feeling well the past few days.
I just signed up for the 1 year billing cycle. Look forward to a great year of hosting with Hostnine! Thanks again Lonestar and Ben for answering. |

Forgot to ask - how soon will the 'setup' email - i.e. containing the login ID, WHM, nameserver IP, etc arrive?
I've received a few emails - but they are all from billing for the invoice paid. Thanks! |

Due to the amount of fraudulent orders we receive, we manually review each order before activating it. All orders are processed within 24 hours, usually sooner. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours, please contact sales@hostnine.com so we can take a look. |

Don't count on it. One week waiting and still no useful reply. Sorry, Host9, but seems that somebody working for you are not dedicated enough to their duties. I want to speak to Manager, please! Ben, save the company. |
