Default Mailman support?

Is Mailman available for mailing lists? I thought I saw someone on the forums say they were using it, but your Reseller info page only lists PHPlists.

You should be able to use it just fine... PHPlists is able to be "automatically" installed since it comes with Fantastico, but that does not mean you can not install and use other software yourself. You can download mailman @ sourceforge

It's possible to install on a reseller account? I thought you needed root access to install stuff like Mailman.

I don't have experiance with Mailman itself, but with similar products you do not need root access.

If, for some reason, you do need root access for instalation, you can either request ssh access by submitting ticket to support, or if that is not enough, I'm sure that support will be willing to help you out with the install (as long as you aren't a spammer, of course)

Could someone who is using Mailman on a reseller account, please tell me what was involved? Is this something I would have to do for every account?

Everyone I host right now is used to using it and I would rather not make them all change.

Aha! Thanks for the reply. I looked all over your site and could not find any information on it at all. Glad to hear that it's available.
