*** UPDATE ***

I have located tickets regarding this. There is a bug with cPanel that is causing all passwords on node56 to not work correctly. We have a ticket in with cPanel at this time and will update your tickets once we hear back from them.

The server has not been compromised, and your accounts are not at risk.

Thank you for your patience.

Default Hack of cpanel!!!

[SUPPORT #QLB-835141] sent 11:23AM CST

I (I) sent a number of updates stating the problem was NODE 56.
Never received an update. I need something to tell the clients. They thought they did something wrong.
I just sent another ticket and FINALLY got an up stating it was the cPanel issues. 4:26PM CST

Please check you records. Nick.

Default Cpanel issues

[QUOTE=H9NickH;17652]Hello,

Please see: http://www.hostnine.com/hosting-foru...ted-sites.html

Cpanel is the platform for maintaining our domains and websites offered by Hostnine, however H9 clients have no way of making any comments to Cpanel whenever there is an issue, it is up to H9 to make issues and send tickets.

To get an issue solved H9 clients must send a ticket to support, and if asking a question is considered being rude, Well! H9 clients are not all English speakers and asking the right question can sometimes create a miss-understanding to the problem at hand, Support needs to take a more tolerant view of questions asked and of course being put on hold and closing tickets without comment is surely going to get H9 clients agitated.

Rightly said it is up to the client to maintain his/her Cpanel and see that all scripts, insecure passwords and any other maintenance that needs to be done, and saying that, we the clients can not see behind the scenes and must rely on H9 support for doing that.

Maybe it is time for H9 Clients to take some time and take a really good look through their Cpanel and fix what needs to be fixed. Making Backups are essential, you never know, even H9 is not infallible

I am not sure if there is an error report log in the client Cpanel, but if there is not then I think there should be, this way we could check any issues what needs to be fixed client wise.

It has gone 5 hours now, are there any new updates?
