Default unallocated space?

i have a wd caviar 300gb drive and had a partition on it. it was split into 2x150gb drives. i just deleted one of the partitions cause i had no use for it and it was empty. now i have 150 gb of unallocated space. can i add this space to the primary partition?

not without reformating your primary drive, or you could try setup Raid

There are tools to assist you with this and I have been using Acronis tools for several years but there are others Acronis partition manager can bee seen at

Pay attention to the "Key features" on the above page and specifically:

"Resize, copy, and move partitions without losing data"
