Hey listen Mr Know it all, everybody has to learn, not everybody was born with instant knowledge like you, so why are you even part of this forum if you allready know everything, stop trashing people for not knowing something.

Geez, sounds like you should apply for a job at H9, clients do not even ask for help in this forum because of A holes like you. Who wants to be told there stupid. I guess people in AU are just smarter everybody else in the world.

Did you notice the word "some" in my post?
I didn't know everything that was said... and have actualy learned some things from Greg's posts.
What I was actually refering to were some of the things mentioned in the support and abuse sections that are needed for the self-obsessed a holes who think that H9 should drop everything to deal with their issue.

Why is that a shame? Not everybody understands how the system works here at H9, I just thought it was a cheap attempt on your part to kiss a little H9 ass.

Those extensions are listed as Non-TLD's meaning, they are not top Level Domain extensions.

They ussually take longer to resolve, as their DNS servers arent known world wide, and dont update as quickly.

Actually i would have to disagree, NZ has no top level domains instead we have many diferent domain, as our DNS Servers are run by mostly one company and stored in one database (mostly) for the most part they resolve at the same rate as TLD's if not quicker

Domain SpaceDescription.co.nzOrganisations pursuing commercial aims and purposes.net.nzOrganisations and service providers directly related to the NZ Internet.org.nzNot-for-profit organizations.geek.nzGeeks! (Technical enthusiasts).govt.nzNational, regional and local government organisations operating with statutory powers (moderated - apply for a govt.nz).school.nzPrimary, secondary and pre-schools and related organisations.ac.nzTertiary educational institutions and related organisations.mil.nzMilitary organizations of the NZ Government (moderated apply for a mil.nz).maori.nzMaori people, groups and organisations.cri.nzCrown Research Institutes (moderated - apply for a cri.nz).gen.nzIndividuals and other organisations not covered elsewhere

I dont know where you got that information from, but I stated .nz are NOT top level domains. Now, I'm not talking TTL's, I'm talking DNS nameserver resolving.

TTL's are Time to Live, which is a fancy way of saying, the time it will take for the DNS to update, when a change is made. I'm talking about the time from setting the nameservers to when ISP's around the world update the DNS

And it is true, that domains ending in .nz, take longer to update, then .com's, this is the nature of domains, and this will only change, when they've been around longer.
