merriam-webster.com defines "unlimited" in part as infinite. I'm not sure who is worse. We in the industry that sell infinity, or the customers that believe they are buying it.

You should carefully look at their TOS. Maybe they have some other limits such as maximum file size.
Some other host recently became "unlimited", Which is btw a pretty good host. Never had any problems with it yet (Though I'm not using too much space there)
Their first limit was 300GB, Then (I guess) 750GB, Then they've raised it to 1500GB and now it's "unlimited". (I know, There's no such thing as "unlimited space"...)

They provide unlimited space, but the data must be that of a "traditional website". When is the last time you seen a "traditional website" (with legal material - not warez) take up more than X GB. Unless the site owner is a photographer or like, it will never happen.

Until it starts running out of space. I guarantee, as soon as the server starts getting full, they will find those etraordinary high accounts, and look at them in-depth.

BTW: Because of this practice, I was sure to ask H9 what their policy was before I signed up. H9 does not require you data to be a traditional site. You are allowed to use your space for file storage, etc.
