Well they also have to modify cPanel to exclude certain items such as transfers and changing the admin password (in case someone gains root access via whm). Although I do think it has been a bit too long...

Well, its been a month and a half since this announcement. Any updates? When can we expect to see some of the servers updated? Thanks!

I'd be interested in an update too. One of the reasons I chose HostNine was the impending RoR support.

Hi there,
I have 2 other host companies, they are big players, and they still have the older version CPanel too. Patience is a value what will bring more results than haste. Let them run trial and errors on their time and then bring the completed tested to the masses, other wise everybody complaints about holding time on the phone and slow response. Just my 3 cents. I don't mind the wait Holger |

Hi,
We are still actively working with the new version of cPanel. There is a bit more to it than just the new slick frontends. (They are pretty cool aren't they?) We are also working on the back end side of things. As tempting as it is to install the update in haste, here at HostNine we believe in superior uptime and reliability of our products. Even if it means waiting just a bit longer for the new cPanel roll out

Thanks for that update. I also believe in uptime that plus customer service. That is why I am with HostNine.
Thanks |

any new updates yet? I'm all for testing to make sure everything works as it should, but a more definite timeline other than still testing would be nice too
It's been about two and a half months since the announcement was first made.. so we looking at another two months? or two weeks?
