Default SSL protection when filling out forms/cpanel

Hello,

I would like to request TLS/SSL protection (https://) when filling out forms or using cpanel. I can make each individual page use https by reloading the page with https, but each submit link dumps back to http. This seems like a very bad idea when I have to enter my login information to file a support request and an even worse idea when I change my login password with cpanel.

Thank you,

Jeff

I don't seem to have any problems. I log in to https://example.org:2083/ and it stays https whatever I do.

Interesting:

https://www.example.com/cpanel gives the following error:
SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

http://www.example.com/cpanel redirects to Example Web Page
https://www.example.com:2082 fails to load

https://www.example.com:2083 works!

Why wasn't this in the new account information e-mail and why doesn't https://www.example.com/cpanel redirect here? Why isn't this the default?

Also, when logging into the client area the default is http, if you make it https, then it goes back to http. However, if you fail to provide the correct login information, then it goes to https.

That problem is the SSL cert key is invaild, you need to re-issue it again with the SSL provider. Make sure it is using the dedicated IP. First, remove all .key, .ca and .crt on server then re-issue and give it to the SSL provider and they can reissue it and then install it and it will work.
