I have a domain on H9 that is only used by me and my wife for e-mail, as well as an old blog that I barely use. Today, my wife says she can't get to her e-mail, and hasn't been able to for some time. When I went into the dashboard to check, I found that the site was suspended for abuse, and I was not able to unsuspend it.

There was a note on the dashboard saying Hostnine's Abuse Department suspended the site on May 2nd, and I had 48 hours to reply. I don't check the dashboard every day, since the sites I host don't usually require any babysitting. I was under the assumption that if something like that happened, I would at least get an e-mail. I have a secondary e-mail address on file that H9 uses to send me billing notifications, but they couldn't be bothered to tell me that one of my sites was suspended? This says to me that money is more important than customer satisfaction.

I looked at the abuse listing... from what I can tell from the headers, my domain was spoofed for spamming, and H9 took that as reason to shut down a domain that barely even gets used for mail anymore. I can't even get into it at the moment to find out what happened. My blog was hacked a long time ago due to a Wordpress security hole, so it's entirely possible that it happened again, but since I am locked out of my own site, I can't even check it.

Since I never even knew about the suspension, the 48 hours have come and gone, but I sent in my reply anyway. I'm a bit concerned that their Abuse department won't take phone calls, just e-mail. I am wondering how long I will have to wait for a reply.

Does anyone even bother with the forums? Looks like a ghost town in here.

Server Migration US Cloud - May 19th - 20th

With our continuing efforts to always provide the best hardware and service possible, we will be moving our cloud reseller servers a new cloud...

With our continuing efforts to always provide the best hardware and service possible, we will be moving our cloud reseller servers a new cloud cluster. Your account will be assigned a new IP address once located on the new cluster.

The servers being migrated are:

uscloud3.myserverhosts.com

uscloud4.myserverhosts.com

Migration Schedule
Saturday May 19th

uscloud3.myserverhosts.com

Sunday May 20th

uscloud4.myserverhosts.com

The length of this migration will depend upon the network speeds at that time, however we expect for it to be completed by the end of each day.

Once the migration of your account has been performed you may see a page stating "This account has moved". Once the DNS cache around the world has updated, this page will go away and your website will be functional once again. As long as you are using HostNine's DNS cluster the DNS changes will be performed automatically. If you are however using a 3rd party DNS service, you will need to manually update the account's IP once the move has been completed.

If you have any questions regarding this process feel free to contact us by emailing support@hostnine.com . We are happy to help!
