Default Considering dedicated server, comments?

I'm considering a dedicated server setup to have a bit more control over what is happening with my clients' accounts. A few questions:

1. Does H9 set up the server for you initially and how complete is that setup? Do I need to set up cPanel, etc.? Or do they do that for you?

2. How much time is involved in maintaining your own box on a weekly basis?

3. How frequent is downtime? Better than reseller accounts? Is this a pretty stable/reliable solution?

Any comments or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

All is essentially setup as you want...mostly a basic web server.
You will want to become proficient in managing/configuring as you can to prevent delays for the more critical issues. My experience has been all good with H9 providing the dedicated platform. This has allowed me to grow.

2. How much time is involved in maintaining your own box on a weekly basis? Not much at all. The same as running a shared/reseller package.

3. How frequent is downtime? Better than reseller accounts? Is this a pretty stable/reliable solution? That is up to you and how much resources your websites use.

Thanks for the info, Ben. I guess another question would be how new the equipment is. Would I be getting something brand new or a box that has been used before?
