I have been a hostnine client for about a year or more with their reseller plan. I am a designer that offers hosting to my clients.
I think overall they have a good service with some minor negatives. Support: Good:Most of the time is excellent and usually reply in a timely manner. Bad: There have been other times when they take too long or don't respond at all (I still have an open ticket from a month ago requesting an authorization code for a domain transfer). Servers: Good: You can choose a server in any part of the country and are fast. Bad: In some parts they are full and am not able to add any more. Customer satisfaction: Good: When they had a fire and my clients' website were offline for a while they behaved well, making it up afterward and apologizing. It is good to see a company that takes responsibility if something goes wrong on their end. Bad: One of my client's website's email addresses were not working at all (error 451). Support was great and fast, but nonetheless when asked if previous emails would come through they only replied "it is a cpanel glitch and previous emails have been lost". No "We are sorry". My client says she might lose some of her clients over this (don't really think it is true but I had to apologize on my behalf and make up for it). So there you go, overall I think the service is good and they are relatively new so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I am happy with their service and the only thing I would add is a way for resellers to offer domains through one of their partners to have a complete package. |
