Default I am leaving HostNine

After my account was suspended for using too many resources (and it's just a WordPress blog at fault), I wasn't happy. I responded to the abuse ticket and opened a separate support ticket. I was chastised for opening the support ticket, yet two messages to the abuse ticket have been ignored (the staff name on both the abuse ticket and support ticket is the same). As of right now, my account has been suspended for 6 hours. I'm sure it's a simple coding issue on a single page at fault, but I haven't been given an opportunity to resolve it.

I could live with that -- perhaps the day shift takes care of abuse tickets. I was willing to wait before saying anything to anyone until I saw this:

http://www.hostnine.com/hosting-foru...58-issues.html

""There was a resource abuser on this server, we finally managed to catch them in the act, and they were suspended. We'll continue to monitor just in case."

Since I'm on node 58 and my account was suspended (I have another unaffected account on another node), I can fairly assume this refers to me. It blatantly says "caught in the act" like I've been intentionally using up resources and doing something wrong.

I've had the blog set up this way for at least 3 months, have submitted support tickets about the server that were resolved since then and nothing about the cause of this was ever mentioned. I suspect I know the answer and could probably fix it in 15 minutes or less, but all of my account access is suspended and no one is answering the abuse ticket.

I'm leaving HostNine after I find a more suitable hosting provider, even if that provider is more expensive, after more than a year and a half. I don't ever want a repeat performance.

Hello,

I do apologize for the frustration this has caused you. I have replied to your abuse ticket now and the account has been unsuspended. I wish to reiterate here that we understand that most cases involving excessive CPU usage are not intentional, as in this case, and there was no ill-will meant by that post.

Hi,

What is the ticket number in relation to this issue? I would like to look into this ASAP as I would like to have a better understanding of the situation.

Thank you

The ticket number is UUE-434494. By the way, the server is still extremely sluggish and I know it has nothing to do with me.

Anyway, it doesn't matter to me anymore. I'm moving after I order dedicated hosting on Friday.

Hi,

I am showing the load is very low at this time on node58

[root@node58 ~]# uptime
20:37:13 up 1 day, 19 min, 3 users, load average: 0.76, 1.27, 1.45

If you're having issues on node58 we can easily move you to another server within minutes. I do see your scripts were using 60%+ of the servers CPU though which did result in the suspension.
