Default My honest review of H9

My sites are often offline sometime for over two days
I have rung support once I was so frustrated and waited for over half an hour before hanging up.

the only reason why I stuck it out with hostnine was I liked the different ips given for sites on the reseller accounts.

Latley it has been dns issues or hacker attacks something I have never had on a few other sites online.

I have also had my sites down for over 24 hours due to non payment my account was suspended with no notification what so ever and this was an error as my account is paid via subscription with paypal and was paid on time as usual

I have to date only used 342 mb of 20gb allowed for storage yet my sites take ages to load if they load at all.

i guess you get what you pay for however in saying that I have reseller accounts with other companies and have no problems

I found hostnine via dp forums and Im strongly considering making a video and posting it too all the video sites so others don't suffer the same headaches I have with this company.

I know there are numerous problems with running servers I had my own hosted on the planet and moved to vps and reseller accounts to avoid them

unfortunately my experiance with this company makes me wonder why.

Other providers seem to not have the same hassles I have had sites down weekly since joining.

I don't use any scripts apart from wordpress plugins and have never even come close to using resources that would put me in breech of hostnine terms

I pay my bills on time

Honestly this hosting is a joke and h9 probably is very frustrating for the staff who work here as I imagine you get a lot of complaints.

I hope you learn the lessons of over selling your servers as it appears obvious to me that this is done

once i had to wait over 12 hours for you to add new nodes so I could add more sites to my reseller account.

My rating for this hosting 2/10 and its only this high because of the allocated ips provided free on the reseller account.

Justin,

Do you have tickets related to this review? We did have an issue with the DNS cluster over the weekend which has been fixed. It was not due to hackers or anything of that matter. If you're referring to an outage due to the attack on node33 we fixed that as well. DDoS attacks can happen to any server in the world so I'm not sure what else we could have done to prevent it.

Today I get a smart arse answer from a guy Alex saying my sites are online and cant i see them this is over two days since they were said they were fixed and yes I could see my sites online but they weren't when I sent the tickets in or I wouldnt of bothered too put in a tciket for no reason and he also puts in his reply please check forums before posting a ticket which I had posted in the ticket that the forums report the dns problem fixed.

The email I was sent told me to contact support if I still had problems
I doubt Alex even bothered to read the original ticket or he wouldn't of put such a moronic answer as then he would of known I had already been to the forums

I will be moving hosting bad hosting plus bad attitudes from people who customers pay their wages I can do a lot better else where thanks

Alex was simply informing you that every is online and working perfectly fine for us. He then asked if you were still having issues. If you would like to setup a phone call I will gladly make myself available at your earliest convenience. I can be reached directly at 877-251-4678 ext 501

It seems there is a dns caching issue on your end as every single one of your domains are loading fine for us.

One thing you can try is:

Start -> Run > type in cmd

Once in the command line type in: ipconfig /flushdns

Make sure all browsers are closed and then retry. Another option is to unplug your cable modem and plug it back in as well as your router if you're using a router as well.

I can understand your frustration but what I can't understand is why it's being taken out on us as we're doing everything we can from our end to ensure your websites are working. As I said previously I will gladly make myself available to better explain this situation to you and provide you with a credit for the inconvenience but please understand the issue seems to be a dns caching issue on your end.
