G'day All,
Below is my opinion of the total service from HostNine (H9). In two month, it will be 12 months sinced I signed up. There has been some good times, and some bad. Good Times - 1) Superior Uptime - all my servers are from California, as this has the quickest response time to Australia. 2) Support - Although reading other customer Testimonials, i can understand how some people have made bad reviews, and I believe that some replies to my posts could have been better. But in general and over 90% of the time, support has been great. 3) Quality of Servers - Servers are fast, and respond very quickly, in fact response times are faster than alot of the DC's in Australia. Must be the link that H9 Uses. Bad Times - 1) Down Time - Down Time on server 41. This was NOT H9's fault, and as per their Up Time Guarantee, I was granted a refund. So yes this was bad, but they made up for it. It was also great that H9 kept me up to date with information about The Planet. I believe the DC has now changed, so this is proof that if H9 Customers are not happy, then H9 is not, and they will do something about it. CONCLUSION.... Some people here have bagged H9 out. Why?? Well reading through the Customer Testimonials, most have been because of bad Support. Howevery I am willing to bet, that most of these have been serious issues, that were raised during the night or on weekend, when Obviously the Level 2 Techs are not working, and the issue was above the Level 1 Techs. Yes, on the weekend, I do notice that Support is slow, but is that a problem?? Not to me, after all it's the Weekend. Yes, there have been server problems, but then again, check out the competition, do they offer servers in different States and Countries, if they did i believe they would have the same problems. People say H9 has another server down, yes, they may, but it is more than likely in another location, so you have to remember, that they are running from multiple DC's in multiple locations, so I believe, they are doing a GREAT Job. Ben, Alex, and yes you too Joshua :-P you guys are great!!! Recently I was being poached by another Host!!! I Contacted Sales, and not only have H9 Matched the other provider plan, they are beeting it. So how about that for Customer Service!!! A Great Service, and Great People, who TRUELY want to keep their customers, and in my view, are the BEST Host out there. So to the people, who wan't to bag H9 out, give them a break, they do the best they can. I have 100's of Support Tickets, and the average is 9 Min for Support, to me that is fantastic. Yes sometimes Support does take a while, that is only because it is a big issue and needs to be investigated, and not everything can be fixed in 1 min. A OLD host i was with, every 5 min would reply to the ticket, saying, We are Still Looking into the Issue, Please Stand By. Now THAT is annoying. So, Do I have FAITH in H9?? YES. Do I TRUST H9?? YES. Will i Stay with them?? YES. And most importantly, would i Recommend them?? HELL NO!!!!, I want H9 all to my self, and don't want any one else using them, ha ha, Of course I would recommend them!!!! This has been my opinion from my experiences with H9. Chris.
