NEW Backup System

This weekend we will be implementing a new backup system which completely blows our existing system out of the water! It's not only more secure but it uses a better protocol when conducting the backups which doesn't cause any load issues like the existing standard backups do.

Will this be a sector by sector type of backup or account by account type?

Basically, is it only for H9's use in the event of a failure?

We will have more details available shortly. One of the major great things about this system is we will be backing up MySQL databases every hour and the entire server every day. You can even restore your databases to the TABLE if you like!

You will ALSO be able to login directly through cPanel and have the ability to restore any file you need.

If this had been done earlier, the load in COMET wouldn't have been so horrible. I have moved 5 accounts to a different server as per my clients' request and I was about to cancel my reseller account already.

We are going to be provisioning the new backup system throughout all of the nodes this evening then we will proceed to migrate the old servers into it this weekend.
