Default Fix 'edit package' so it does not reset ssh access

It would be nice if when you update/edit a package the procedure does not clear the 'ssh access' flag. Even if you update quota, it wipes it out.

I started low on bandwidths and have been moving some around - and each time I need to enter a ticket to get ssh access re-enabled.

Its a pain for me, and I'm sure its a pain for support.

Yes I asked about the same thing. With WHM, I had H9 set it up so SSH was turned on by default for me and all accounts I had, so editing packages didn't affect it.

I asked about it when RC came out, but I believe Ben said it couldn't be done yet.

It used to be (perhaps still is) an option with editing packages - but it never did anything. That is when you found out you had to enter a ticket.

The 'always on' would have been nice - but its the 'once set' and having to re-request it (just like migrating and having to re-request a static ip) is a, well, silly and wastes time.

Right, the reason the option to turn SSH on in the packages didn't do anything, was that H9 had disabled your ability at a higher level to set this. They do what a lot of hosts do and disable it by default for 'security' reasons.

That's the reason that when it's set, and you edit the package, it defaults back to off cause they aren't giving you permission to set it yourself.

Annoying, I know. That's why I liked it before when I had requested it be turned on by default. Hopefully this feature comes back.
