Default cPanel showing wrong "Hosting Package"

Is there a way to edit what the cPanel says is the customer's Hosting Package?

The accounts that I create from scratch all say "Default" and those that H9 moved for me from an old host, all say whatever they were at my old provider. So when a customer logs into their cPanel, it tells them their Hosting Package is "Reseller".

I'd like it to say whatever it was that they signed up for. Is that possible?

Troy D.

Troy,

Are you on RC or WHM?

Accounts from another cPanel with the full site backup utility contain "ALL" of the old account details.

You have to have your packages setup and then do an upgrade to assign one of your packages to these accounts either in RC or WHM

Default RC

Sorry I didn't mention that.

Yea, all the new accounts created in RC still show "Default" as the hosting package instead of the names I gave the packages.

Is there a place in the RC to fix that? If I missed it, sorry.

Thanks
Troy D.

I would edit the account and assign the correct package - this should set the package name and sort it out in cPanel too

Oh - and make sure you have all the packages in RC too

Mine do this too. Under RC, if I change a package, the old package is displayed in cpanel.

Default Didn't work

I upgraded a couple of my accounts. All of the features/quotas changed correctly. However, the name of my packages never updated. And all 3 of the packages I have were created in RC.

They all still say "Reseller" if they were imported from an old host. Or "Default" if they were accounts created in RC and not imported.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
Troy D.

I also have this problem and upgrading/downgrading the account in RC didn't help.

It is a bit annoying but I can live with that until the bug is fixed (by H9?) - most important is that the disk and bandwidth quotas as well as the other account settings are according to the plan assigned to the account.
