Symlinks
For security reasons we have disabled symlinks on all of our shared and reseller servers. If you are experiencing a 500 internal server error, please add the following line to your .htaccess file:
Options SymLinksIfOwnerMatch #Use the following line if you use shtml includes: Options SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Includes You may also need to comment out the following: Options +FollowSymLinks Note to Drupal users: You will also need to edit the .htaccess file located in public_html/sites/default/files/ Last edited by H9Jeff; 12-21-2010 at 04:16 AM. Additionally, If you had the options to enable CGI execution in the .htaccess file, this would need to be removed as well, and the CGI scripts moved to your "cgi-bin" folder with permissions of 755.
