Exclamation My account got Hacked, anybody?

Is there anyone here experience hacked issues by Albanian hacker on node useast13?

All my website under that node get altered into a black screen that claim that the site is already hacked by them..

I already sent a ticket to support, but still curios if anybody here also experience the same issue?

I wonder how come this hacked issue impact on the whole node?

Thank you for the reply

Smile No problems

I have 8 cpanels on useast13 but none of them have such a problem. all loading fine with original webs

Don't think server hacked, but your cpanels. most of the time weak password, weak scripts or infected pc responsible for this.

I think you need to check all your accounts

Hello,

Many hacks are caused by out of date or insecure software. As this is an isolate incident with only your account it is an issue within your account that allowed access. We would advise that you do the following to prevent this in the future:

1) Clean all infected files in your account and remove any unknown/un-needed files
2) Change all passwords including cPanel, and FTP
3) Scan your computer for viruses, some exploits are caused by a virus on your computer getting your login and uploading files
4) Update all applications on your account and remove any insecure plugins
