Default Knowledgebase wiki

Hello,

just an idea: What about a knowledgebase on wiki basis?

Maybe I'm just blind, but I can't find any help pages on this site. Some problems can be sorted out by trial&error, some others may have been already asked in the fourm.

Especially for the VPS there is virtually no documentation around.

I suggest a wiki, because there are enough people around with good knowledge, so it don't need to be done (entirely) by the h9 staff.

With the mediawiki software, the only working wiki, in conjunction with 'flagged-revs', everyone could edit these pages, but the changes get visible to the public only after a user with appropriate rights confirms it.

Disclaimer: This is no complaint, just an idea to improve customers experience!

KB is HostNine LLC - it's not a wiki but does have a lot of questions answered.

Oh, well, thanks. Beside the fact that I thought it is gone since the redesign of the website, because it is well hidden now, it is not exactly what I have in mind.

Infos like 'To create a new hosting account ... click on "Create Account"' are not really, ehrm, excessive.

I think about a little more technical details, answers to questions asked in the forum, how-to's, how-NOT-to's, everything you always wanted to know about Se^h^h but were afraid to ask, etc.

But the topics given there would be a good start point for a wiki. Then users could update and, more important, expand it. And it would save precious time of the staff, because it takes much less time to check the entries, than writing them from scratch.

I'll look into getting something like this setup...it's definitely a good idea.

We have an internal wiki that we use often, so we'll see about getting a public one as well.
