I am growing concerned over my move to H9.
What with the outages yesterday, the problems ive been having today and am still having as im trying to download some files and the recent posts ive read of people's accounts being suspended with no communications from H9 other than to say "Account Suspended". Ive only been with H9 a couple of weeks and overall my experience has been a positive one but im starting to wonder whether i made the right choice here

We notify each and every person if their account is suspended. The network outage you experienced the other day was the first in a very long time. Those do not happen often I can assure you that. We suspend sites for a reason and that reason is when users cause servers to go offline. If we didn't suspend them your websites could potentially be down and I'm sure you don't want that.

I agree with suspending accounts Ben when they cross the line but there are a couple of recent posts which indicate that you have not provided information to the suspendee as to why their accounts were suspended and what they could do to avoid it happening in the future and it is exactly that which concerns me.
I run a fairly busy ecommerce site and a fairly busy ecommerce providing site and obviously i cannot have my account suspended and then not know why it was suspended so that i can either remove the offending script or move elsewhere. Thankfully ive not been suspended with posts stating that their accounts were suspended without any information being provided is a concern and im sure you can appreciate that? Thankfully also, only my own websites and only one very easy to please customer is hosted here as all other customers are hosted elsewhere. Last edited by willow; 06-28-2007 at 05:27 PM. |
