Default Startup Assistance

Hi all, I just joined H9 after 2 years of hell with my current providor. Basically I developed a website builder and the project has come to a halt after 2 years so I need to use another sitebuilder which H9 has and it looks great!

My question - is, as a H9 reseller, it possible to automate a hosting/website builder package using ModernBill and the new Site Builder?

That is to say, have the signup nuggets from MB taking a client through to signup, setup their domain according to what they have purchased, auto installing Site Builder and email addresses and giving the user login details?

I only ask because i have not yet seen the limitations of the H9 operation. Also I am in Australia and my web design business is only for local businesses so i'm not sure the regular domain reg company supports .com.au.

I have looked through the forums and seen hints that this is possible, but any guidence to point me in the right direction would be very much appreciated!

i'm referring to the one you advertise in your reseller promo ... not the RV one but the one it says we need to contact you to install for us...

I would really like to try an automate the business as much as possible.. i have spent two years working on a similar venture but have to abandon it for reasons too long to explain..

I would like people to be able to sign up for a web design package which includes hosting, domain etc, and for scripts to be able to create the domain name, register it and create their account in cPanel/whm and ultimately allow the site builder to be auto installed on their site...

Will this be possible or some of this be possible?

I am not sure about the site builder being automatically installed, but with H9 you get free Modernbill which will automatically create the hosting accounts when they signup.

yes thanks Dan - i have played with MB5 before so I should be able to figure that part out. If all it takes is to fill out the form and H9 install it it should be fine...

In regards to the automation, does enom support .com.au domains?

That would be SWsoft site builder. Which as of now MB doesn't have a module for it. So you would need to manually create the site builder account in your admin panel.

OK - so I can create for my clients myself can I, or do they have to do it? My focus is more "web design" rather than hosting as most of my clients will have no idea about web hosting and cPanel.

Will MB have a module for automating that site builder or any of the other scripts?

As MB does not appear to have this on their road map I would not think that a module is in the foreseeable future....

in your WHM you can alter the default items that are added to a new account file wise and this along with seperate emailed instructions might obtain what you are seeking

And Welcome to the H9 community!

Yes, they probably won't be having something like that any time soon. Gotta stick to the old fashion way I guess ;p

Thanks for the info guys - i'm sure there would be a way to modiy whm for the client to install it via cPanel or I could do it for them...

I've installed MB5 yesterday after some hacking and am just setting it up... complicated app to get working even for a PHP programmer! Looks awesome with the "nugget" feature so I cannot wait to use it!

I gotta say H9 rocks with it's support.. its almost instantaneous and the guys are very helpful as well to fix issues.. i wont bug support unless i'm sure its out of my control, but either way, they have been excellent...

If you guys know anything about MB5 and automation for anything , please let me know - I would be interested and will pay for the info/assistance.
